Graduate Programs in Business and Finance

The distinctive graduate programs of the Sellinger School of Business and Management:

·          Master of Business Administration
·          Executive MBA
·          MBA Fellows
·          Master of Science in Finance

These programs offer choices for professionals seeking leadership credentials in today's dynamic business environment. Loyola pioneered business education in the Baltimore region when it began to offer the Master of Business Administration in 1967. In 1980, the Joseph A. Sellinger, S.J. School of Business and Management was established to meet the market demand for highly-skilled management professionals.  The Sellinger School enjoys a thriving tradition of innovation that continues today.

Fully-accredited since 1988 by AACSB-International, Loyola's graduate business programs reflect a tradition of excellence, discipline, creativity and a sense of responsibility to the larger world.  Committed to the full development of the individual, Loyola offers a value-centered education best exemplified by the Latin phrase cura personalis--concern for the whole person.

In addition to the Master of Business Administration, Loyola is the region's only school with two highly regarded Executive MBA Programs.  The MBA programs, as well as the Master of Science in Finance, position Loyola's Sellinger School as the premier provider of leadership education in Baltimore. First and foremost a teaching institution with a distinguished faculty, Loyola depends on both the rigor of its curriculum and the relevance that its faculty can impart to cultivate business leaders. The diverse backgrounds and experience of our full-time faculty blended with an impressive array of practicing faculty affiliates creates a dynamic educational experience.

The classroom in practitioner programs is a unique setting, a professional forum.  With a student body itself rich in experience and accomplishment, you can look forward to learning from colleague-to-colleague exchange as much as through lecture, study and research.  Students bring perspective, knowledge and skill to create a richer backdrop for analysis and debate, making the understanding of concepts and especially their application, clearer and more robust.

Loyola is a partner in the JesuitMBA Network, consortium of 30 Jesuit and Jesuit-friendly schools.  The benefits of this program include the portability of credits, international travel options, A Beijing study exchange, powerful alumni conncections, career support, and a common curricula steeped in business ethics and social responsibility.  For more information click here.
