The Graduate Programs in Education offer degrees leading to a Master of Education or Master of Arts in Education. If you're currently a teaching professional, and the Certificate of Advanced Study in Education (Master's Plus-30) programs offer opportunities to hone skills or gain exposure to new concentration areas. Loyola's Teacher Education programs are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education and lead to eligibility for certification in Maryland and dozens of other states with reciprocal certification agreements. Loyola's Teacher Education (MAT) program provides new college graduates and individuals interested in changing their careers to teaching with clearly mapped pathways that lead to successful and rewarding opportunities.
