Counseling Center

During our lives we all experience change. At times, this change is orderly and understandable. At other times, it can be chaotic. Understanding, coping, and planning for these changes in our lives can be challenging. The staff at the Loyola College Counseling Center welcomes students to our Center with the knowledge that counseling has helped many students.

We offer confidential, goal-oriented group and individual counseling to help students address academic, personal-social and career exploration and decision-making concerns. One of our highest priorities is to make this a place where students will feel safe to talk about their concerns.

We do not offer long-term psychotherapy. If a student would benefit from longer-term counseling or other specialized services that we do not offer, we will suggest alternative resources for them.

Staffed by psychologists, a psychiatrist, and other mental health professionals, the Center is open between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our office is located in the turret of the Humanities Center, one flight up in room 150.
